Also i find what products you use.. and how you touch your hair when you dry it can be the most noticable. when you dry your hair you should use a product to protect your hair from damage and to hold your curl nice(not the hard as a rock crispy products lol)different products work for different hair types and people, i like professional products the best, redken mostly, it costs more but its more condensed and has better ingredients, so you don't have to use as much as drugstore products.you always work the product into your hands, start by the nape of the neck on damp hair, to the front of the hairline, never apply too much! less is more. then when drying your hair with the diffuser you never ever touch it too much, the more you touch it the frizzyer it will be.you just gently hold your hair with one hand while holding the diffuser on it with other in sections.i use a shine spray to finish off, i use redken shine spray, but theres alot of other good professional products too, i hold it an arm lenghts away, and sprits it twice to mist it, too much and you look greasy!just a little looks healthy..also that dust and woolies that collect in your hairdryer, clean it out regularly!!!!!!! this can cause your hairdryer to overheat, causing you to have fryed hair, dry damaged and split ends.hairs an accessory you wear everyday, protect it
Thanks for all of this! I do use drug store products. When I used salon products I did not find that much of an improvement to justify the price. I used to use Amplify shampoo/conditioner, and all the Big Sexy Hair products. My hair did not ever get big nor sexy. I don't like to use mousse bc it leaves that crunchy "wet look" that I hate. And my hair doesn't get frizzy at all. My hair is stick straight asian hair. It's permed, but not colored, with no split ends. I have to get it permed every 6 months or so, and I'm due for one again. Even after 3 + hours at the salon, I leave with slightly wavy hair, not curly. I would like it to be more curly, so it will fall out into waves.

However, I do use my flat iron to style and curl or wave my hair, and since I have the perm in it, the curls last longer than when I used to curl my hair when it was unpermed. So it will almost last a night, when before it would almost last 5 mins.

This is the style that I want. I got the bangs and the length so far. I did start off shorter, bc I know shorter hair looks fuller, so I may go shorter again.
