trial and error that's for sure. I think all of mine have been less stressed and better behaved at the groomers though, I think I take to long at it.

To me the biggest struggle is keeping the dog from moving and flinching when trimming around the eyes. I really need to get a table restraint or what ever they are called. Do you guys that groom just one or two dogs have a restraint. I also have bathed all my dogs in the shower, please tell me I am not the only one that showers with their dog
