Agreed what others have said. I basically just went to petsmart bought a set of clippers and a pair of scissors, went home and started lol.
With dex I first clipped his body. Then let him go for the rest of the night. The next day I started on his face and legs. So I took a very gradual approach , but it's worked out well.
The key for me was to do a lot of positive reinforcement.
It's weird though, I thought the clipper sound would scare him, but it doesn't! It's the sound of the scissors that he hates!! |
