Thinning hair runs in my family. My granny was almost completely bald on the top of her head when she passed, my mom has thinning hair. Fortunately, I have more hair to start with than they did (from my dad's side I guess), not that it is really thick, just thicker than theirs is/was. My friends my age (I'll be 40 this year) worry about covering gray hair. I don't care if I have gray hair as long as it's still on my head! My mom wears wigs if she wants a particular style that she can't achieve with her hair. Just make sure you get a wig that fits well and is made of good quality fibers (human hair prefered). Like someone else mentioned the heat can make wearing them uncomfortable.
If you want to wear a wig, I say go for it. |
