To the Yancy1211 the one thing we can all agree upon is that Yogi is adorable and is lucky with their new life with you. I too made an emotional pet store purchase. I do not regret getting Buster as he is the love of my life, my Prozac for dealing with this crazy world. He has brought so much joy to my life and I know Yogi will do the same for you. That being said he did come with many health issues and I have spent thousands of dollars on medical bills. I would recommend you look into getting pet insurance. I was lucky as I did get insurance before he was diagnosed with some conditions. If I did not have the insurance before the diagnosis they would have been considered preexisting and not covered.
