Your pup is a good age to bring home. If it's a good size - I doubt you'll have any problems at all. I was scared too - because the person I got my pup from spent an hour telling me about all the problems a new little Yorkie pup can have. Mine was 8 weeks old, not small, and had an appetite like a lion. He is growing by leaps and bounds and is as healthy as a little dog can be.

Don't worry. Just stick close to your pup - give him a lot of love and hold him a lot. Hopefully he can sleep with you. And, especially make sure he is eating well. This should keep him happy and healthy.

I'm sure the person you're getting your pup from with be there 24/7 for you --if you get worried or feel that you are having any serious problems.

These first few weeks go by so fast - it won't be long before your pup will be older. By then it will be past having many problems that small pups have - and also by then you will be very comfortable and used to your "little dog."

It's kind of like a new mother bringing her first little baby home, isn't it!

Good Luck!
