We have officially had Milo for a week and a half now, Lola and him are getting along amazingly! They took to each other the first day and have become BFFs ever since! But my DH and I have noticed one strange behavior from Lola, every time Milo falls asleep, she goes over, lays next to him and licks him all over!
Now she doesn't discriminate either, one time she will lick his ears, the next his legs, the next his face, and even his little bottom!
I think it is so sweet and was wondering if anyone here has similar experiences or might be able to shed some light on to why she is doing this? Is it instinctual to clean him since he is still just a puppy? Even tho she is only 6 months old herself? Or does she just think he tastes good(lol)? Even after he got a bath she still did it!
Oh and I should mention it doesn't seem to bother him at all, he actually seems to kinda like it, doesn't move, squirm or even open his eyes. Gosh I love these little babies and their funny little quirks!
