Why can't the breeder keep him any longer?
I'm one of the few on here that is all for getting a puppy young...but even to me 5 weeks is
extremely young. Does he have teeth yet? Is he weaned and eating food yet? It is one heck of a responsibility caring for a very young puppy. He'll require 24 hour care. He will need to be fed every 3-4 hours around the clock for weeks. It is just like caring for a human infant...you can't just leave them at that age & go to school/work...he'll require around the clock care.
