Mmmm chocolate and peanut butter candy bar...
Anywho, funny story, I live in Michigan and our summers get no where near as hot as Texas. But, I was walking into a Linens and Things when I saw a little terrier in a car with the windows cracked about...eh maybe 6 inches. The car was black, and scalding to the touch, so I grabbed a rock, aimed at the window and was about to throw when the owner came running out. We had a screaming match in the parking lot. Police were called and the store pressed charges, the dogs had been locked in there for over and hour on a 94 degree day.
I guess my point is, I don't care what state you're in, I don't care how hot it is. In fact, I don't care how long you plan on be out of the car whether it's 5 or 15 minutes. No living creature, animal or human should be left so any amount of time in a car. It's inhumane and mean. If you can't have the dogs there, then don't go. Simple as that. |
