Thumbs down Why are the good foods hidden in the back of the store???

I was shopping at a store near me called mutts and butts, which is a great pet store, they have a ton of stuff and is not a commercial place like petco or petland. I was always shopping in the front area cause thats where i thought the good dog food was. I was buying my yorkie science diet. I read on this board about the healthier brands, ex: merrick, innova, wellness. So i was looking around for these brands to try them out. I wandered all the way in the back past the cat food, and there they were all the natural brands of food. Its upsetting that they put them all the way in the back in the last aisle, and keep the purina, iams, and all the other brands with by-products right in the front. Next time i go in I am going to talk to them about keeping those better brands out more in the front. any ideas why stores do this???
