I haven't lived in an apartment with Jackson but I do know it'd be a change of lifestyle. We've stayed in hotels 3-5 floors up with him and after a few days, it tends to get annoying doing the potty thing. But at least he's really good at holding it, he never has to go, like, FIRST thing in the morning, so we're in no huge hurry.

He's pretty good, since he's used to traveling with me and seeing new dogs, people, etc. The only thing that was different for us is that he is used to us living in the country... there is nobody around at night. So once it was dark out on vacation and he was sniffing to do his business and a person walked by and he started barking, lol. He's a very non-reactive dog so it was totally out of character, but I think he was completely spooked because he's not used to people being around at night time.

I think it'd be an adjustment but I think most dogs can live comfortably in apartments and actually... a lot of times I feel like apartment dogs get more exercise and socialization because they are forced to go on walks, and be around people, etc, vs. a dog who is just accustomed to his back yard.
