Gave her up instead of Pittbull I certainly hope the pitt get's some serious training.

Yes, females do mark. My maltese marks and whats worse is that I have two alphas in the house. But no potential harm to each other. You should see them go outside. One marks and the other one marks behind and it goes around like that

If you are sure she is potty train then all the advise I can give is keep an eye on her. Big no-no when she marks and put her in her crate. It took a while but finally neither one of mine marks anymore.
