YES!! we do need to talk, and yes, my girls get natural helps while whelping, I used golden seal with Chanel's second litter but the cords took 3 days to dry, so this litter I went back to using betadine , it makes the cords dry and fall off in 2 days.
my main mentor uses Arnica for her Alaskan Malamutes, they do suffer from joint pain from pulling, she swears by it, also Yucca root extract, she has a whole stash at her home..LOL
I do use Red Rabsberry leaf tea for during and after whelping for my girls, and Thank GOD never had a problem with retained placentas of uterine infections of any kind.
