Do you have the pedigrees of these dogs? Do you know what the ancestors of your dogs looked like and produced? That is helpful information and can give you some information about what your pups my turn out like but the genes a dog carries go all the way back for many many generations and even a well bred dog can produce a throw back from far back in the generations. A pup that starts out small may actually surpass the other pups in the litter in growth. It's a wait and see usually.
The pups need to be nursing often and the mom needs to be given extra supplementation while she is nursing the pups. |
