Leave the carrier out all the time. Play a game with her....throw the treat into the carrier and make sure it is at the back of the carrier so she has to go and get it. When she gets it praise her. We would make a party out of it. Keep doing it multiple times a day. Praise Praise Praise her....This is what I did with my other little one and he loved his bag. My new furbaby is still getting used to it, but she goes into it quite well. We just flew with her to Florida and we had no problem at all and she was in it for a long time. We left Nova Scotia, Canada at 6.30 am and only arrived in Key West at 4.00pm and she was excellent. The most important thing is make the carrier a fun place to be not a punishment. |
