I have only lived in apartments since I have had my guys- where we are right now is the most expensive pet-wise- it cost me $400 per dog in non-refundable deposits- I pay $25 per dog each month in pet rent as well.
Mine do fine in apartments, they are pad trained so that makes it easier in that regard.
