My girl has anxiety issues also and trembles at every new situation. I don't make it a big deal. I started by carrying her and progress to where she would just cuddle herself next to me. Now I just pat her and say it's ok. She trembles for a little bit and then comes out of it. But I do try and leave her with trusting friends when possible. I don't think she will ever stop trembling but I know she's ok.
