I don't know where you live. But there is a wide range of cost here...
like someone posted before I don't go to the "cheapest" but don't want to pay for new office space either!!!
I think it sounds a little high.. break it down. How much is the office visit?
Can you get the meds online? etc etc I am like you.. if it is needed so be it.
I just left a vet because the last two times I though I was going in for a $45.00 check up and when I checked out the bills was $400.00
He gave shots and treatments that I did not approve and in my opinion was not needed. At least I should have been asked, I could have scheduled the treatments for example. They also made an error in a test.. their error and I had to bring sammy back in and they charged me!! I complained and walked out.
I talked to a few others and found he has been doing that to other people also.
