Since being involved in these forums I have seen prices all over the place and like someone said it's a free market place so people can ask what they want if they can get if someone willing to pay their price regardless if the puppy meets breed standards. Buying from show breeders in the past I expected to pay more than I would from a pet breeder but this does not seem to be the case anymore. What gets me are breeders that only seem to be concerned with size, their adds or posts are like ; look at this pup, he will only be 2lbs, I want $2,500. Meanwhile the pup, has floopy ears, poor coloring, and a thin coat, but no one mentions that because they are to busy fawning over the fact he will only be 2lbs. LOL I guess I am old school but I thought you always paid less for the runt of the litter not more.
