Well where I'm at you can't look at a Yorkie (any color) for under $2500.
Over $3000 is a norm.
Or you travel or have one shipped in it's a supply demand & market driven pricing here.
I have & LOVE my (purebred) Parti Yorkie, his original price was listed at $5k.(ridiculous!), I adopted him at 2-4 years old at a lesser amount.
Many "breeders" simply charge more because many unsuspecting buyers assume price equates to quality.
It's sad but especially in animal sales, scam artist know no bounds. |
