I have long, medium thick, wavy hair, I use Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream and figured it would be fine for Bubba. I heated 1 oz of water put two pea sized drops of the glossing cream, shook it and put it in a small 1 oz spray bottle (target $1.00). Before spraying, I still have to shake it, but it works like a charm. I spray this between baths for brushing and after a bath for detangling. A little goes a long way

I have to add, I tested a small patch on Bubba's chest beforehand for an allergic reaction. I figured its more on the hair than on the skin. I don't know if I would try human shampoo on either of my dogs, just because it does get on their skin.

I did however order the Bounce spray, if nothing else, the value 8oz for $8. Sold I will post a review when we get it.
