So now he's a healthy, bouncy pup but won't eat dry food. The vet had him on Royal Canin Medi Cal Recovery (wet food for sick dogs) until his stomach settled. I always left the dry food out for him but he wouldn't touch it. So then I went back to the vet and got him Medi Cal Development wet food. He loves the stuff but I need him back on the dry food so he can feed whenever he wants.
I've tried another dry food product by Royal Canin but he won't touch that either and the kibbles are quite big for him I think. I prefer Nutri source as the kibbles are so little. Perfect for him.
Help! How do I wean him off wet food. I am so scared he'll be come hypoglycemic again! |
Keep feeding him wet food. You can start by adding warm water to his dry food allowing the dry to become soft. I would consult your vet, they have a variety of Hills diets that may be perfect for your baby. Keep us updated
