Argh, really? I got my iPad2 less than a year ago. Every moment we have spent together has been special, though.

Sounds like someone in the market for one should wait, either for the hottest new thing, or for prices on the iPad2 to drop when the newer version is released. I haven't heard anything about the iPad3 feature set, does anyone know?

The big thing about the kindle is that it's much easier to read outside. You may have seen those commercials where people are reading on the beach (though I've always wondered, is it a good idea to bring an expensive electronic device somewhere with sand, water, and theft?).
If I am outside and I have my sunglasses on, I cannot see my iPad2 screen at ALL. The first time I tried it, I thought it was broken. My sunglasses have polarized lenses, which make the problem worse.
It does bother me sometimes when I try to read in the park, but if I turn the screen brightness all the way up and take off my sunglasses, then it more or less works.
