Good way to try them out for cheap. If you order on their website you don't get free shipping unless you buy a ton. I've also noticed that the smell varies depending on the batch. I always buy the regular kind, and sometimes they have almost no odor, and sometimes they reek. |
I agree with you about the smell varying. I have noticed that the regular ones vary in color. I think the darker ones have had less drainage and tend to smell more. The odor free ones I have gotten are a much lighter color and are much more brittle. I have read the odor free ones are allowed to drain out so I guess that is why they are more brittle than the regular ones. Gracie can chew down an odor free one at least twice as fast as she can a regular one. I have been letting her have an odor free one for when we are watching TV in bed but she has the regular ones that she can chew on the floor. This is all to gross for me to think about too much. She needs them to help her release some of her pent up energy and I need them because she is a much better behaved dog when she has them.
