Well the big news is we did the "big one" outside this morning, and when I wanted her to come to me for her praise and big treat she cowered. I know this is because the big one has been a no no in the past home, but I made a big deal out of it and she got her treat.
SO my strategy would be with a 3 year old like this: Continue patient and long waits outside. Reward when #1 and #2 and done outside. If it happens inside, clean it up without comment, and continue until she catches on that outside is good inside gets nothing??? Also the nect big thing would be to find out what her style of alerting me that she needs to go will be once she catches on???? OK experts how does that sound to you because I need to advise Mom when she gets here. Oh and also we are going to crate when not actively being watched or engaged, and straight to the potty when crated each time. How does that sound???
