I love John Edwards and used to watch his show when I could also. My mom passed away, well, it will be 5 years on February 12, 2012. She does come to me in dreams and I have always known it was her way of letting me know there is life beyond. Its kind of weird because she doesn't talk per se, but I know exactly what she wants me to know. Thank you for sharing and I am sorry to hear of your losses.
