YAY a new little one.....how very exciting for you and for all of us too..heehee!

Did the breeder tell you what she provides because most supply a lot with the puppy especially to a newbie who has never had a dog before. It's the Puppy Care Package.

My breeder gave me the crate, a blanket, a bed, a carrier, a couple of toys, a weeks worth of the food she had been feeding, a syringe w/medication called albon to ward off coccicidia, a tube of nutrical, a bottle of pedialyte, a can of puppy milk, one free vet visit to her vet, and written instructions on the care of the new puppy as well as the health certificate from the vet, the shot records and a book on yorkies. This was from two different breeders and they both gave about the same except the free visit to the vet since the one was from Texas. The first one also spent two hours with me going over the written instructions and telling me how to care for the baby.

If the breeder doesn't give all of this then you will need to purchase it in addition to a few other things like a harness and leash, an xpen, some treats for training like Natural Balance rolls (they're great) and a brush and shampoo and conditioner to keep the coat nice as well as a toothbrucsh and doggy toothpaste.

Good luck and post pics as soon as you can....
