Gosh, this has all been super helpful! I chose to get her just recently because I no longer participate in any extra curricular activities where I have to be away for the night. My class schedule isnt that bad, classes start mid morning and end early afternoon then I do a couple of hours work for a secretary. In other words, she won't be by herself for very extended amounts of time.
I live in more of a town house than an apartment so she has plenty of room inside, as well as, a small backyard area, a park across the street, and an Iams dog park about 5 miles away.
Thanks for the traveling tips too. Since I'm leaving early in the morning, I won't have time to purchase a car seat. Will it be okay to crate her? I just don't want her roaming around my car. I kinda try to stop every couple of hours and let her walk around a bit. It's just the feeding and watering part that gets kinda tricky. She wont eat and if she does, she'll puke. |
