Sry I missed the fact that she is only 8wks old and about a pound, The Yorkshire Terrier club of America, recommends that pups are not released until 12 wks old and weighing 2lbs.
Hypoglycemia in one that young and weighing under 2lbs is a real issue. Who will be with her 24 7 to monitor her well being? Someone needs to if you plan on bringing home a pup that young.
Besides which another month means you can bank some more money; to buy some items you really need for her.
