Hey Everyone

Gotta a question about Dewclaws

Our last Yorkie had his removed, tail cropped and with our two new rescue Yorkies - Jagger has both dewclaws removed and his tail cropped. Jackson also has his tail cropped, and 1 dewclaw removed but he also still has 1.

Just wondering if this is normal, maybe they forgot to remove 1 and what to do about it. So far it is not bothering him, but we don't have experience with dewclaws, we have had him groomed twice, so the claw is clipped but want to make sure he doesn't hurt himself.

Does anyone else's Yorkies have a dewclaw or both? Is there any special care needed?
