Ok more advice needed

We have used K9 Advantix 3 times now and each time, they fight. We made it 3 weeks and 2 days without a fight and the night before I used it, they fought. This time was different, we were actually walking outside and a neighbor walked her dog past and another neighbor stopped beside us in his car to say hello, and they went at it. It was over soon enough but attributed it to the K9 Advantix being put on them when we got home.

We tried Frontline Plus with our other Yorkie and it didn't work. Any suggestions? We did use Advantage on our other Yorkie, and that did but I was thinking of trying Comfortis. Has anyone else used this? A neighbor of ours with Greyhounds says that it isn't safe but it has to be better than then fighting over medication. We worry primarily about fleas versus ticks.
