My vet told us awhile back that Mojo had slipping knee caps (or something like that), but that we wouldn't need surgery for it...unless it started to cause him pain. He doesn't limp and doesn't hurt when he walks/runs. We can't even tell that anything was wrong, until you feel his legs.

I heard that small breed dogs are prone to these problems...maybe it is the distance they jump since they are so small?! Most of our little ones jump from bed to floor or couch to floor, etc.

You can search online for making her own steps....I have printed it out somewhere, but it has escaped me right now. They are pretty easy to make. You can also buy them from lots of different companys or maybe search eBay too. They are definitely worth having!
