What do you clip with on the inside of the back legs (by the bug)? I can't seem to find the blade that works best there. Zhoie's hair is so fine and smooth in that area, nothing seems to clip it off |
Sanitary areas get clipped with a 10 blade. anything shorter will cause irritation and anything longer may catch the skin. I stand the dog up on their hind legs to make it easier. Clip upwards from vulva to "belly button" and clip downwards from vulva to mid inner thigh (or lower if matting is an issue). When I clip this area I only really skim the area, especially on tiny dogs with thin hair and paper thin skin. I don't press the clipper against the body, this helps prevent irritation.
