If you have a good breeder.. she won't let her puppies leave until at least 12 weeks old.. they should have at least 2 sets of shots.. they need to be approx. 4 weeks apart.. you wouldn't want to start puppies on shots prior to at LEAST 7 or 8 weeks old.. so.. 12 weeks old MINIMUM!

Smaller pups should stay even longer so they can better handle the stress of move and the new environment/routine. There is no reason to send puppies out to soon, the longer they can stay with mom/siblings, the better off they will be. Socializaton skills are tought by mom and the rest of the pack.. these skills are invaluable in future training with your family and for the rest of your puppies life..
