I'm really hoping her family is looking for her and finds her. If I were not almost two hours away I would walk the neighborhoods in the vicinity of where she was hit. The only other guess I can come up with is maybe an elderly person lost her who does not know how to search. It's pretty cold here, so I'm not sure about the fleas if she would be able to pick them up this time of the year? I did also contact a Yorkie rescue in our area, for two reasons one in case someone calls looking for their Yorkie and two I asked for some help with her. We have our hands full with ours, so I'm not sure if this will be a permanant situation or if we will just be able to foster her and then need to find a permant home. I guess a lot will depend on 1. how she is, whether she'll have permanant neurological damage in which case it will almost be impossible to find a home to take her so we'd have to keep her and 2. I have to hope my other Yorkies and she will be ok. She is not feeling good now, so she may be ok with my guys but if she does recouperate I do not know if she'll like other dogs or if mine will take to her, you know what I mean so I have to have a back up plan. We are taking it a step at a time. Right now I just want to keep her safe and get her better. I will take her to my vet this week if we are able to pick her up on Monday and I'll let him access her too and then go from there. For the short time she's made a lot of progress so I'm keeping positive thoughts for her.
