Well I agree with you on the parti prices I think they are way too high and should be priced in comparison to the traditional yorkie. I am a big believer in preserving the integrity of the standard. However I know parti yorkies have been around a long time arent going anywhere also parti owners love the colors of the parti yorkie and want it to be recognized by the ytca so I understand and sympathize with their plight. I just wish if there was more unity for what they are breeding for with the breeders. They dont have any standard so they arent breeding for specific traits as far as color and other traits also sometimes. It just seems alot of the breeders of the parti are breeding it to sell as a rare color for alot of money and I dont think that is doing any good for the yorkishire breed same as traditional yorkie breeders that are breeding for the tiniest yorkie they can get. |
