yes, it has to be AirPrint. There are only certain printers that are enabled for it. We have an HP 6500 all in one at home and the HP 8500 all in one at our office. Both are iPhone/iPad print enabled. When you look at iPad from apple.com, there's info on the printers that are currently enabled, and they add more all the time.
I also got this nifty little thing that plugs into the bottom and I can plug my camera card into it and upload my photos from my camera. I love it! It was only 20.00.

I have a 64GB iPad2 ... I was going to get the 32GB, but due to needing to get it the night I went out to get it... they were out of 32GB, so I bought the 64GB. Both my fiance and I use them all the time. I almost always use it on Wifi though because the wireless in my house has a crappy connection with it for some reason. I have the $20 a month data plan.... some months it's fine, others not so much. I think once we get a newer wireless router I may have better luck with the wireless connection and use less Wifi connection so the lowest plan will be more than enough. Right now though, I am running out about 10days before it's due to renew. Luckily you can renew it early by option. |
