Thanks, everyone! You guys are so sweet and make me smile big with your wonderful comments about me and my Sully-boy!
If you like THOSE tricks, hmph you should see the rest of his tricks! I'll have to video some of his most recent ones sometime soon, hehe! I need to get that on video anyway, really.
I taught him to "walk" by first teaching him to stand up then "dance" (move all around) and then eventually, "twirl", which now he has down pretty well. (But his "twirl" in that video was not as balanced as he usually is.)
Anyway, then I'll hold his treat up and have him walk a couple steps towards me before I'll give it to him....then I made him walk further, and further.....and now he will just "walk" on command.
Sully also knows all of his tricks in SIGN LANGUAGE. I don't have to say a word and he'll obey all my hand signals with his tricks. OR I could just so all vocal too. It's fun to have taught him both! He's sooo smart!
