It sits on the console of our vehicles and so he is about shoulder level with me (I'm short) so he loves that he's right up there beside my face. He can see out and he loves that too. But on trips over a few minutes, he just sacks out and sleeps - it's a comfy place for him to sleep and he is securely buckled in.

I just ordered the lookout console and cannot wait for it to arrive. Got it at e-bay for a very reasonable price. I hope my Tiger will love it as much as your Rowdy. Right now, he is always in his Sherpa to-go Carrier but there is not much interaction while he is in it. With the console, he will be right next to me . . .
