She sounds like she has anxiety. Baby is 6, and still till this day will freak out if I leave or go into the bathroom without her. Sometimes the anxiety, as with humans, is unexplained. She may just be so anxious to please you. Just praise her with that high pitched voice, petting, etc when she does something right.
