Thank you so very much for your kind reply. You gave me a lot of useful information. I had thought of using the vinegar rinse you spoke of but was not sure it would be good for his hair. The smell of the shampoo is so strong that I feel I must not get all the shampoo out. I do rinse and rinse and then rinse some more. But I can't keep him in the sink forever.lol So this all sounds really good.
