$1400.00 for Brandy in Northern California a year and 1/2 ago. At the time I was looking females were running around $1200-$1800. Her brothers were selling for $1100.00. I knew very little about yorkies then and got her at 6 weeks old with no special tests run on her or the parents as far as I know. She had just had her first round of shots on the day I picked her up but my vet re-did them at 8 weeks anyway because he said 6 weeks was too young for the shots to have effect. So far we have been lucky health wise but if I ever get another one I will be much more thorough in my research and will be sure to enlist the help of all the experience breeders here on YT to find a reputible breeder even if I have to fly somewhere to pick him/her up.
