 Patella popped out?
I have a yorkie that is 2 years old. When we bought her they thought that she may have an issue with her leg but everything has been fine up to now. Yesterday she jumped on the sofa and didn't quite make it and fell. After that, she started limping a bit. She would run and jump but then walk on only 3 legs. Took her to the vet this morning and they said that her patella around the knee is popping in and out. When it is in that is when she can run around ok but then when it pops out it hurts her. She has not wined or cryed. Vet gave her some anti-inflamatory medicine and said if it does not heal to have surgery.
I searched the forum for "patella" but most I read seemed more severe than my dog. Does anyone have success with no surgery? |
