Ok so i have a 16 month male yorkie, who has recently decided to use my $900 couch as his PEE PAD!!! I have been dealing with him hiking his leg on everything and got that somewhat under control (any tips on the i would be grateful to hear). But here in the past 2 weeks, he has peed on my couch 4 TIMES!!! I stick his nose in it tell him no, lightly pop him and but him in his cage( which he is NEVER in there unless hes done something bad). I just don't know what to do. MY couch stinks like dog piss, and is you can't tell i'm a little ill right now about it because he has just done it again today. The thing is, he knows he has done bad. Because i saw a dark area on the cushion, went over to it to realize it was wet, he saw me looking at it and took off upstairs.
I love my dog dearly! I'm a SAHM, so he always has attention from me. Always in my lap. Sleeps in the bed with me every night. I just don't understand why he is doing this???!!!!????
I can't afford to replace my couch because he is ruining it!!!
PLEASE HELP!!!
