Hey y'all! Aymee and Katie Scarlett here! We finally made it back home safe and sound after a long visit in Alabama with our families. That 2 day drive wore all of us out, so we slept in this morning. After waking up and playing a bit, I decided to put together one of Katie Scarlett's Christmas presents...a bed from her Grammy and Grampy Gandy. That is my in laws. They spoiled her rotten I tell ya! LOL! They bought her this bed online and I think it will go great with the decor' in our bedroom. She has a nicer bed than we do!
Anywas, I wanted to show the bed to you guys. The first picture is of just the frame. This bed was so easy to put together. The frame slides into place in less than 5 minutes. I then took about 20 minutes to iron all of the fabric pieces. Then I slid the fabric down over the foam inserts, added the canopy, tied the bows, and voila'! We were done in about an hour! Katie Scarlett marched right up to it as if she knew it was all for her. She climbed right in, looked up at me, and 'smiled.' LOL! I then snapped some pix and wouldn't you know it....she is now snoring away! I think that means the bed gets her seal of approval!
But...Katie Scarlett says 'who wants to come over to my house for a sleep over?' I could fit 2, if not 3, more of my Yorkie buddies in here! Y'all come on over and we'll have a big 'ol time! Tee hee!
