What I try to do is say "Go Potty" over and over again in a calm fashion as he is pooping OR peeing on the pad. Then I follow it instantly with praise once he is finished and usually a treat.

Should I be using the same word "Go Potty" for both Pee and Poo?
It's quite frustrating when he seems to forget where to go and he will sometimes Pee on the pad then go poop a few minutes later in the corner even when I'm watching him. Or vice versa (poop on a pad then Pee in the corner usually a different corner because I always clean up really well)

(Frustrated) thanks
My Romeo is completely wee pad trained and (knock on wood) he has had no accidents. I make sure to always keep things in his wee pad area consistent for fear that any small change will upset his routine.

One thing I have noticed with Romeo -- if the wee pad is wet and he can smell his urine on it he will not do his poo. Even if I fold the pad so that he can go on the dry part he will walk over to it and pee again so that I have no choice but to give him a clean, dry pad for him to poo!
