Just a caution, be sure not to point that laser light anywhere near their eyes!

And a true story: My first trainer Mike, also rescued working dogs. Well this is about a young adult Rottie, that the owners gave up to Mike, because they couldn't be bothered with their dog anymore. All they ever did to give that dog exercise was...yup you guessed it... chase that laser. It was a crying shame, to see that Rottie just standing all by himself in the big outdoors, ignoring people and dogs, and when the sun cast a shadow only then was he animated enough to go run over to check the shadow. It took nearly 2 years of being at Mike's, going out in the training field every day, being around lots of other people, and dogs, when finally one day, when we arrived he came over to greet Magic and me. I had tears in my eyes, finally that big fella gave up his obsession.

Be careful with creating obsessions.
