Once after about an hour of continous indoor squeaking, I took a toothpick an damaged the squeaker. Well, she looked at me like her world had come to an end and ran off into the bedroom and would have slammed the door if she could have. It broke my heart so we went to the store and got her a new one  .
Now I just open the back door and act like I throw it out and trick her long enough to hide it. I swear, she'll come back in the house and can smell that darned ball and knows right where it is. Well, we hide them in the frig now after a squeaking session so she can't smell them  . |
hahah! That post made me giggle. I'm right there with you! I've got two relentless squeakers in the house and it drives me bonkers but I know they love 'em!
I've never thought about hiding them in the fridge though! Great idea!!!
