This is kind of mean, but I have found a squirt bottle with just a bit of hot red pepper in it works wonders. It probably stings a little and is irritating, but better than YOURS getting attacked. We take some with us when we go for walks. There really aren't ANY loose dogs in our neighborhood, but you never know. Someone near has a HUGE Rotweiler and you never know when she might be out of the fence. She is sweet as can be, but I don't trust (mot) other dogs, big or little, without their owners around. |
