You can get pet insurance from some companies here, like AKC, but not all vets will take it and it does not cover as much as what they have in Spain and other European countries. It would be great if we had something like they do - maybe we would not have as many strays or unwanted puppies or places like the Humane Societies would not have to put so many puppies down. So sad!
